FREE TRAINING FOR IBEW MEMBERS

The Ontario Electrical Training Trust Fund is offering free training to IBEW Members in Ontario. Plus, participants will have a chance to win an iPad!

Advance your knowledge and skillset in the workplace and on site. As a bonus, each participant who successfully completes one or more courses will be entered to win an iPad (and the odds of winning are good: 1 in 3 to be exact!).

Two courses are now available on a first-come, first-serve basis until all seats have been filled. Courses are online and take only a few hours to complete. Read below to learn more.

Mentorship Matters

This course will introduce you to the skills required to develop effective mentoring relationships with a focus on communication skills. Whether you are a mentor or mentee, the goal of this introductory course is to introduce the mentorship model and help you develop strategies to practice effective communication that maximizes learning opportunities and supports the development of positive mentoring relationships.

Structure and Workload

This course consists of 4 lessons of approximately 30 minutes duration each, for a total of about 2 hours of self-paced instruction.

Working in a Respectful and Inclusive Workplace

For managers, supervisors, and anyone working in construction.

Learn how to create and participate in a respectful and inclusive workplace. Help ensure that your company offers a place where everyone feels wanted and welcomed.

This course consists of 9 lessons, for a total duration of about 3 hours of self-paced instruction.
