QUICK FACTS ABOUT WAGES AND HOURS

IBEW HOURS AND WAGES ARE ON AN HOURS WORKED = HOURS PAID BASIS.

Overtime: if you work overtime hours or holidays, you get paid for double time. Working overtime is always optional— you can decline without penalty.

Work day length: each region has its own number of hours in a regular work day, but the maximum is 8 hours per day. Anything after that is overtime.
